Please take notice that the Annual Election of the Florida Fire District will take place on December 8, 2020, between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. at the Florida Fire House, 19 South Main Street, Florida New York for the purpose of electing:
- One (1) Commissioner – for the remaining term (4-years) commencing on January 1, 2021 and ending December 31, 2024.
- One (1) Commissioner – for a five (5) year term commencing January 1, 2021 and ending December 31, 2025.
All duly registered residents of the Florida Fire District shall be eligible to vote. Candidates for the District Office shall file a petition, subscribed by twenty-five qualified voters for the district with Karen Pennings, Secretary Florida Fire District (Telephone 845-988-6203) no later than November 18th at 5:00 p.m.
