Replacing critical infrastructure and ensuring the safety of the traveling public is of the utmost importance. The project along State Routes 17A and 94 has begun. Please reference the press release, distributed on Friday afternoon.
As part of this project, fourteen miles of roadway will be enhanced to include resurfacing, pedestrian enhancements, drainage work, and a new roundabout.
Project work within the next one to two months.
In the coming weeks, DOT contractors will be working on installing drainage at the following locations:
Village of Florida- Willet St, 17A/94/Meadow Rd, 17A/94/Washington Ave, 17A/94 between Bridge St and Florida Green Dr – Daily Lane Closures 2 – 4 wks
Village of Warwick-17A/94/West St – Lane Closures – Night Work 1 – 2 wks
Town of Warwick- 17A near Homestead Village Dr – Daily Lane Closures 3 -5 wks
Work taking place in the Town of Warwick at the following locations:
- Rt 17A between South St and Iron Forge Rd – Pavement Repair/Pavement Resurfacing – Daily Lane Closure 3-5 wks
- Rt 94 between NJ line and Warwick Tpke – Roadside Ditch Cleaning/Shaping – Daily Lane Closure 2-3 wks
Work taking place in the Town of Goshen at the following location:
- Rt 17A/94 between Houston Rd and Pulaski Hwy – Shoulder/Embankment Repair – One Way Traffic in Place Utilizing a Temporary Signal 2 mo
Motorists are requested to utilize local signed detours. As with all work zones and detours, please slow down and pay attention to all signage and roadway instructions, including flaggers.
