Orange County Landlord Survey

Orange County Landlord Survey

The Orange County Office of Community Development and the Orange County Department of Social Services are collaborating on the administration of federal funding to address needs within our County related to rental housing stemming from the COVID pandemic.

To better understand these needs, a short Landlord Survey has been created so the County can assess the degree of the problem and develop some solutions.  If an email address is provided, it will be added to the email contact list regarding potential financial assistance for landlords and their tenants.

This survey will close on March 5, 2021.

Additionally, Orange County has federal funds available now to assist those who are experiencing domestic violence, living in unsafe conditions, living in the home of another person, living in a hotel or motel, or do not have a home of their own. If you know of someone who can be assisted with these funds, please have them call the Orange County Crisis Call Center at 311 or email Terri Torchio, Director of Economic Independence at Terri.Torchio@dfa.state.ny.us to see if they qualify for immediate rapid rehousing financial assistance. OCDSS has other assistance available to those in need including Temporary Assistance, Child Care, Home Energy Assistance or Medicaid.
