PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town of Warwick is accepting BIDS to construct a designated bike route within the Town that connects to adjoining facilities in neighboring communities and to provide a pedestrian connection between the Appalachian Trail and the Warwick County Park. This is a Federally Funded project administered by the NYS DOT Local Project Unit.
SPECIFICATIONS for bids may be downloaded by completing the online bid request form or obtained at the Town Hall, 132 Kings Highway, Warwick, NY between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
ALL SEALED BIDS will be received by the Town Clerk, Eileen Astorino until May 10, 2021 at 11 AM, then publicly opened and read aloud. The successful Bidder, whose bid shall be subject to the approval of the Project Owner as to form and sufficiency, will be required to furnish bonds and insurance documentation as indicated below.
The successful Bidder shall furnish the insurance documentation listed below with the signed Agreement within seven (7) business days from the date of receipt of the agreement.
The successful Bidder shall provide Performance and Payment/Labor & Material bonds in the amount indicated in the Notice of Award within ten (10) business days of notification of the Agreement Date.
At all times during the term of this Agreement, the Contractor and his subcontractors, if any, shall maintain at his own cost the following insurance and shall provide proof thereof to the Town, in the form of a Certificate of Insurance, prior to commencing work under this Agreement:
The Town of Warwick reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and to waive any formality or technicality in any bids, or to make an award too other than the low bidder. The Town also reserves the right to award all or any part of the work, or to cancel the entire project. Bids shall be awarded in accordance with General Municipal Law §103.
